Full arm calibration, Floor and datum/camera

**Please note this feature is only available on machines fitted with the new datum calibration system***

We use the calibration sequence to ensure the arm is where the controller thinks it is. If the arm has had a collision with the material or the floor it can cause the arm to become ever so slightly out of calibration, this over the multiple joints of the arm can cause issues with cutting and sensing so it is always recommended to calibrate the machine at least once a week even if the arm has not had a collision.

Make sure you are in the main top menu.

Select the settings tab.

Select the calibration menu.

In the calibration menu press “Calibrate full arm”.

You can select either “Floor”, “Datum” or “Cancel”.

Selecting “Datum” will calibrate the A, B axis on the brass datum post using ohmic sensing, Along with the centre pixel and distance/width for sensing.

Selecting “Floor” will calibrate the V, W, A, B axis on the floor using the proximity torch sense (Please ensure the floor is free from scrap before starting this process).
