Add quantity’s to .DXF files

To add a quantity to a .DXF file to be nested in Profileshop there are two methods, one that you can do outside of your file and one inside the file.

Method 1

Save the file with “QTY(Number)” at the end of the name.

For example, if you required 10 parts you would save the file as ” Part name QTY10″

Method 2

Open the .DXF file and insert a text entity formatted – Quantity:(Number)

For example, if you required 10 parts you would insert a text entity as “Quantity:10”
