Beam splitting

To split a beam down the web, you will need to draw a line from end to end with a 1mm gap either side.

This will produce a cut path in ProfileShop down the length of the steel.

There are stitches down the length of the cut to stop the material from bowing. These can be adjusted by going into “Beamline Setting” and changing the values in the “Stitching” menu.
